Most ordinarily, women are resorting to these drastic methods as they feel pressured into being thin by society. Everyone wants to be at their best weight, but when you endanger your overall health in your pursuit to lose weight, you run the danger of becoming ill. The most usual drastic diet plan is starvation; not consuming much food at all, resulting in your energy levels dropping. Some people decide to not eat breakfast, others skip lunch, and many decide to skip both meals. Even though your body is forcefully telling you that you’re starved and need food, you say to yourself mentally that you’re not starved. Your body is wise, however, and it will be able to conform. As you consume less and less, your body worries that it won’t be given food so your metabolism slackens drastically to preserve energy, meaning you will burn off less fat throughout the day. When you return to your typical eating habits again, your metabolism will remain slower resulting in your easily storing calories, causing you to speedily gain more fat. You will experience weight loss by starving yourself, but not as much as you would with a proper diet and workout plan. Don’t you believe it’s more effective to be able to eat and lose weight while remaining healthy?

Anorexia can occur when you don’t eat regularly. You begin to be constantly afraid that you will become obese and so you fear food, eat as little as possible, and become dangerously thin. Anorexia can lead to a weaker immune system, hair loss and even death. Many younger people experiment with starvation diets but if you mentally set your mind on starving yourself, it can lead to anorexia which is damaging for the body and your health. This is really not a weight loss method to consider.

Binge-eating syndrome is another unsafe weight loss method. Bulimic individuals often regurgitate after bingeing on huge amounts of food so that the calories will not add weight to their bodies. They are not afraid of food as anorexics do, but they feel ashamed after overindulging on large amounts of food and so they throw it back up. You can’t tell if an indivudal has bulimia as their body weight doesnt vacillate too much, whereas with the other diets you can see people losing weight. Frequent puking is terrible on your body. It can have terrible effects on your heart, liver and kidneys. You can end up having stomach ulcers because of it. Your teeth and esophagus could likewise be ruined by the stomach acid. The acid can likewise cause injury to your throat. Continual puking of your food can cause terrible damage to your body.

My proposal is to eat, but eat in a sensible manner. This means smaller servingsand less rich foods. You can slim down safely and efficiently without resorting to drastic and dangerous measures.

    Thank you so much for this article. I agree it’s a scary thought that little girls think that with starving themselves they lose weight in a healthy manner. The truth is much harder. Deaths may ooccur.     There’s fasting, binging and purging, excesive exercise, by laxatives, pica (eating equipment w/ down caloric value fond paper)…and there’s one of I heard this the I planning wasn’t actually being done. People can actually of worms that are be tapeworms everywhere they munch matter you put into your body. I thought with was sort of gross..especially but you it the worm.

    I totally agree with you there, http://fitnessarticlesdaily.com. There are some seriously dangerous diets, especially those fad ones like Atkins.
